The Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover has very high praise and with its low entry price this Tonneau Cover comes in highly recommended. Here is the good the bad and the ugly.
The Good:
Made of tear-resistant 24oz marine grade vinyl with aircraft grade aluminum cross bars
Unlike the Tyger T1 Roll-Up the Tyger Auto T3 offers their Tri-Fold design allowing quick access to your truck bed when needed and a different experience. We personally liked the easier use of the Tri-Fold than the roll-up design.
The sturdy design allows you to protect your valuables against extreme weather conditions such as blistering sun, rainfall, hailing or snow.
Easy no-drill clamp on installation can be completed in minutes. This Tri Fold design allows for a quicker installation than the Tyger T1. We found there to be several easy to follow instructional videos on the web.
This cover offers a Quick release rear latch which keeps the cover tight and secure when tailgate is closed
The BAD:
In some extreme weather water may leak into the Truck Bed. Unfortunately this is the trade-off you get with a less expensive Truck Bed Cover. See our other reviews for Truck Bed Covers that have a better weatherproof track record.
The UGLY:
This cover is only available for some truck models and years. Make sure to double and triple check that you are buying the correct Truck Bed Cover for your correct vehicle.
